The Art of Kathryn Gastelum, an Arizona native, is to experience a "visual jazz" within her Abstract Expressionist paintings. Be immersed into a spontaneous palette of colors and improvisation in paint as the gestural marks surround the canvas in rhythmic tones of color, created in mediums of oil, cold wax or acrylic. The inspiration from jazz, sunsets and travel define this meditation of moving color allowing each viewer to extract and define their own meaning from within each painting.
